She was so unfailingly positive and joyous every time we met, from when I was a child up to her last riotous visit to our house with Margaret. She was an inspiration and an example of how to engage with each other and approach life.

Elizabeth always managed to make people feel special. When I came back from a trip she wanted to hear my stories and share some of her experiences. She had a wonderfully infectious love of life.

I have just returned from the wonderful, sad, uplifting funeral for this remarkable woman. The tribute by her godson Malcolm was beautiful. What an inspiration to us all. She was such a supporter of Channing School in Highgate (where I was Head from 2005 -2020), and never missed Founders' Day. I was so pleased to have visited her at home in October 2023, along with my friend Caroline Jordan (Head of Headington since 2005). It was a privilege to have known her. Elizabeth: may you rest in peace.
